Tue, Apr 21, 6:30-7:30 pm, Worship & Arts Center
Wed, Apr 22, 10-11 am, Worship & Arts Center
The United Methodist Church General Conference will meet May 5-15 in Minneapolis, MN, to consider a number of different proposals, including some related to human sexuality, specifically the marriage and ordination of LGTBQ+ individuals. Dr. Clayton Oliphint and Shandon Klein have been voted by the North Texas Conference to be delegates to the General Conference which will vote on the proposals.
These information sessions will allow us to share more detail about the proposals anticipated at General Conference, and the vision for FUMCR moving forward. Both sessions will have the same content.
Please let us know which session you plan to attend, so we can plan materials accordingly.
