We Read Together
FUMCR members are invited to read with elementary students in need of additional reading support at our partner schools, Mark Twain and Greenwood Hills Elementary. Training and materials are provided. Reading in schools will begin the week of October 16. Volunteers are asked to plan to spend 30 minutes each week with a student during the 2nd and 3rd (of four) 9-week periods in the school year. Learn More
To participate, please complete the two step process.
Step 1. Submit volunteer interest form
Step 2. Complete application on VOLY for background check (this needs to be done annually)
Training will take place on October 4 in person and online.
