Over Spring Break 2026, FUMCR youth will travel to Panama to serve alongside local communities and grow in faith through life-changing mission work.

This trip is open to adults and a limited number of high school students. We have spots for up to 10 youth who will be in grades 11 or 12 at the time of the trip. To be eligible, students must be active participants in the church and have prior experience in missions. Please note that not all students who apply will be selected.

The cost of the trip is $1,800 per student, and we will help students find ways to fundraise for their trip.

Applications are due by May 15. Students will be notified of their acceptance by June 1, 2025.

Student Commitment
To ensure full preparation for this mission experience, all accepted students must agree to:
✅ Serve 20+ hours locally or within the church.
✅ Participate in an overnight mission experience, preferably with the youth group this summer.
✅ Attend six mandatory training sessions (Sundays in Oct, 12–1:30pm).
✅ Learn a beginner level of conversational Spanish to communicate effectively.
✅ Read the book When Helping Hurts to develop a deeper understanding of missions.
