Rolling Applications Open

Want a higher level of involvement with FUMCRYouth? 

Matthew 9:35 says this: "Jesus sat down, called the Twelve, and said to them, “Whoever wants to be first must be least of all and the servant of all.”

We are building a student leadership team this fall. Phase one: the Serve Team. This is an opportunity for students who are a part of FUMCRYouth to lead through service. Serve Team gives students a behind-the-scenes look at the youth ministry and allows them to grow in their leadership skills. 

Serve Team Requirements:
- must have been a part of the youth group for a year (so at least 8th grade)
- able to check phone regularly
- 60% attendance to youth programming
- shows responsibility and leadership when attending youth events
- lives a life resembling Christ's outside of church

Responsibilities will be assigned based on student's interests and availability, but may include:
- help checking students in
- help gather supplies
- lead games and announcements
- serve snack supper

Applications open July 26, and our first round of applications are due August 18. All those who are accepted on the Serve Team are required to attend our Fall Serve Retreat on September 8 in the Youth Worship Space from 12-4pm.
