Eric grew up in Plano and graduated with a B.M. in Music Education from SMU before spending some years as a music professional in Nashville, TN. He has written, recorded, and performed with artists including Jars of Clay, Jim Brickman, and others and is now loving being back in the Dallas area serving at FUMCR and performing around town. Locally, Eric freelances as a singer, instrumentalist, and producer, and enjoys playing events and concerts as half of the country duo Born and Raised.
He is also a founding member of Oak Worship Strategies, a group of worship professionals dedicated to walking alongside churches as they look to connect their worship ministry to the vision of the church. Eric is excited to help the Church worship earnestly and fully!
Married to Valerie, Eric has a son Carson, daughter Evelyn, and two dogs, Sulley and Kodi. He loves leading worship, traveling, and family and friends.
