Group Life: Women's Study: The Gospel of John

Tue •  Feb 3 - March 10  •  11:30am - 1:00pm  •  Ogden Fellowship Hall West

About Our Group for Women

Women are invited to join our Tuesday Women’s Study as we journey through the Gospel of John, a Gospel rich with imagery, depth, and promise. John’s Gospel offers readers a new language of being born anew, living water, wind and Spirit, and the powerful “I am” which deepen how we understand God, experience the world, and participate in the mystery of faith.

With her characteristic wit and insight, Amy-Jill Levine guides us through the Gospel in its original context while exploring how it speaks to readers today. This study will walk through the Gospel of John in its entirety, engaging stories such as the wedding at Cana, the Samaritan woman at the well, the healing of the man born blind, foot washing, Mary Magdalene and Doubting Thomas, and the proclamation of Jesus as the Lamb of God.

Participants are invited to purchase the study book from their preferred book retailer. Come grow in faith, deepen your understanding of scripture, and share life together in community.
