Confirmation for Anyone is a relaxed, discussion-based class for people of all ages who want to explore the Christian faith through a United Methodist lens. This class is especially designed for those who were not raised Methodist, missed confirmation earlier in life, or are simply looking for a thoughtful refresher.

Together, we’ll explore scripture, theology, church history, and what it looks like to live out faith in real life. No prior experience or background is required — curiosity and openness are more than enough. Each week includes lunch, teaching, and space for questions and conversation.

This class will conclude with our annual Confirmation & Reaffirmation Worship Service on April 19, during which participants are invited to ritually confirm or reaffirm their faith. Participation in the service is optional, and individuals may choose how they wish to engage.

A minimum of 10 participants is required for the class to take place, and we hope to welcome even more. Come learn, ask questions, grow, and take the next step in your spiritual journey!

Cost: $50 per participant (includes lunch each week)

What Is Confirmation in the United Methodist Church?

Confirmation is a season of learning, reflection, and discernment. It’s a chance to explore what Christians believe, what Methodists uniquely emphasize, and how faith connects to everyday life. Confirmation is not about having all the answers — it’s about asking meaningful questions and deciding how you want to respond to God’s grace.
