Children's Ministry
Whether they're in worship, Sunday school, Breakaway, children's choir, God Squad, or a seasonal or special event, we love your kids. Raising children has its ups and downs, and we want to be on that journey with you!

Youth Ministry
Personal connections are critical in the middle and high school years. Our programs for 7th-12th graders provide safe, supportive places to play, learn, and be themselves, while building relationship with other teens and adults.

Faith Formation is an on-going process. FUMCR offers a variety of groups and classes designed to meet you where you are and encourage you in development of faith, relationship to others, and service to the community.

FUMCR serves our community and world in many ways:

• Collections and fresh produce for local food bank
• Mission work trips by youth and adults
• Social justice forums

Care
FUMCR pastors, trained laity, and our network of professional counselors are available in times of need.
We host and sponsor a variety of support groups, and we offer seminars for divorce recovery and grief recovery throughout the year.
We are a Stephen Ministry church.
Road Trip
This summer our worship series will feature Bible stories of travel, homecomings, and journeys. Take a gratitoad with you on your summer adventures and share your pictures so we can stay connected no matter where where we may be this summer!
Project Transformation Bookworm Buddies (Reading Week)
June 30 - July 3, July 21-23 Spring Valley UMCPartner with us and Project Transformation to support children in their love of reading and academic growth by encouraging strong reading skills through the summer!
Community Movie Night
Fri, July 11, 5:30-8pm, Coleman Family Hall / Worship & Arts CenterPeople of all ages are welcome to this movie night! Vote for the movie (Paddington 2 vs. Moana) by bringing pantry or personal care items for Network of Community Ministries.
BIG Sunday School
Sundays, July 13 - Aug 3, 9:45-10:45am, Coleman Family HallExplore the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church in a special combined Sunday School series led by our pastors and retired clergy. Open to all classes, groups, and individuals.
