United Women in Faith (formerly United Methodist Women) sponsors an annual backpack drive for Richardson elementary children during the month of July. Backpacks will be distributed through Network of Community Ministries, our partner schools, Zimbabwe Fellowship, Read With Me, SPAN, and City House.

Each donation of $10 will provide one backpack. Three ways to donate:
  •  Online at fumcr.com/givenow
  •  Bring or mail a check with "Backpack" written on the memo line to FUMCR, 503 N Central Expy, Richardson 75080
  •  Text the dollar amount of your donation followed by "backpack" to 972.499.6444, i.e. give $30 by texting 30 backpack

The goal is $18,000 for 1800 backpacks. Any excess funds will be used for school supplies.
